Principles of Computer Systems: This module presented a structured and unified picture of the interaction of hardware and software within a computer system 

Programming Languages: This module supplied me with a broad understanding of the Programming task and of the range, nature and applicability of the C++ Language.

Systems Lifecycles and Methods Overviews: The module gave me an overview of the systems development life cycle and introduced the methods, and techniques used in systems development

Organisations Systems & Information Technology: This module gave me a more formal and global understanding of organisational structures and dynamics and the role of IT in the shaping and attainment of organisational objectives.

Relational Databases: The purpose of this module is to introduce the student to the concepts of Relational Database design methods. The module focused on the techniques of Relational Database Design, Relational Data Analysis, data manipulation using SQL, and the underlying mathematical principles underpinning the relational model.

Project Management: This module aims to demonstrate the need to prevent problems occurring within technical projects through thorough planning, careful control and skilful management of resources. Both technical and personal attributes of the ideal project manager are considered; and emphasis is placed on the theory and practice of motivation, leadership and teamwork.

Object Oriented Systems Development: The purpose of this module is to provide in-depth coverage of the Object Oriented approach to the Information Systems Development process.

Networks, Communications & Internet Principles: This module aims to provide a knowledge of the fundamentals of computer communications and networks.

Object Oriented Databases: The emphasis will focus on OO design concepts and OO database applications, such as Multimedia applications.
